These partnerships are designed to be long-lasting and mutually beneficial, helping to connect families to resources while providing the means to continue expanding Trail Mommas’ environmental and outdoor program content. In-Kind & Content Collaboration Partnership
An In-Kind & Content Collaborator Partnership is for businesses and organizations that want to share their services or experiences with the Trail Mommas community through authentic, story-driven promotion. Instead of a traditional financial sponsorship, these partners provide an in-kind donation—such as guided adventures, gear, accommodations, workshops, or other unique experiences—in exchange for advertising that feels natural, engaging, and true to our brand.
Your contribution becomes part of a real-life Trail Mommas adventure, captured in photos, videos, and words that inspire our audience to connect with your business. We showcase not just what you offer, but how it makes an experience richer, more memorable, and worth sharing.
By donating your services or experiences, you’re not just supporting Trail Mommas—you’re becoming part of the adventure and reaching an audience that values authenticity, sustainability, and the joy of exploration.
The In-Kind and Content Collaboration donations will be assigned a Partnership Level tier based on its monetary value of the donation, as listed above and will include all the tier benefits for the business or organization.
Co-Hosted Workshop and Event Collaborations
Trail Mommas is proud to collaborate with businesses and organizations that share our passion for outdoor exploration, family adventure, and community connection. Together, we can create meaningful, paid events and workshops that inspire families to get outside, learn, and grow through nature.
When you partner with Trail Mommas to co-host a program — whether it’s a guided hike, educational workshop, wellness experience, or creative outdoor activity focused on highlighting your business or organizations’ resources — our team provides access to our engaged community network.
To help sustain and expand our mission of providing accessible outdoor education and community programming, Trail Mommas receives a 10% revenue share from each co-hosted event. These funds directly support the growth of our educational initiatives and community outreach efforts.

Partner Organizations
ecoEXPLORE is a free, statewide, community science program for kids (aged 5-13yrs) developed by the North Carolina Arboretum. This innovative program combines science exploration with kid-friendly technology to make outdoor learning accessible, fun and rewarding for families.
The North Carolina Arboretum is a 434-acre public garden and research center in Asheville that connects people with plants and the natural world through beautiful cultivated gardens, hiking and biking trails, educational programs, and seasonal exhibits.
Triangle Land Conservancy (TLC) is a trusted partner organization of Trail Mommas, dedicated to protecting natural spaces and connecting communities with the outdoors through their 8 nature preserves they own and manage for public use. TLC has led engaging and educational programs for Trail Mommas families and their young explorers. From guided hikes to hands-on environmental activities, TLC’s expert staff and volunteers have helped deepen our children’s understanding of local ecosystems and inspired a lasting love for the natural world. Their commitment to outdoor education aligns perfectly with Trail Mommas’ mission to nurture curiosity, connection, and stewardship in the next generation of adventurers.
Katie is also a certified trail guide and volunteer for the Triangle Land Conservancy.
Fredwick Photography is a North Carolina-based photography brand specializing in adventure, nature, and storytelling imagery that captures authentic moments in the wild and the beauty of real connection. From family adventures and portraits to epic landscapes, Fredwick Photography preserves the spirit of exploration through bold, heartfelt visual storytelling for all your occassions.
Wake County Parks, Recreation and Open Space has been an incredible partner in helping Trail Mommas families connect with nature through hands-on, educational experiences at some of the region’s most beautiful parks—including Lake Crabtree County Park, Harris Lake County Park, and Historic Yates Mill County Park. Their dedicated park staff and educators have led engaging programs tailored to young explorers and their families, covering topics like wildlife, aquatic ecosystems, native plants, and conservation. Their support plays a key role in nurturing the next generation of nature lovers and environmental stewards.
